What would I pay?
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Billed monthly by card; cancel any time from your office. Not available in Quebec yet.
Punchboo is a time clock, not a payroll service. Gross wages are an estimate: it does not calculate income tax, CPP, EI, vacation or holiday pay, and it does not pay anyone. You hand the hours to your accountant or payroll service.

Bigger shops get a plan built for their size. Tell us how many people and what you need, and we email you a price. No calls unless you want one.

Pricing questions
What counts as an "active" person?
Someone whose name is on the tablet. When a person leaves or is away for the season, turn them off in the office. Their hours stay on record and they stop counting toward your plan.
What happens when I go from 3 people to 4?
The free plan stops at 3 active people. To add a fourth, you add a card on the Plan page in your office: $29 a month, which includes up to 9 people. Your crew keeps punching the whole time.
How is the bill worked out?
$29 a month, plus $3 for each active person over 9. We count your active people once a month, on your billing day. Hiring or turning people off in between changes nothing until the next bill, and about three days before, we email you if the amount will change.
Is there a contract?
No. It is month to month, and you can cancel any time from your office (Plan → Manage card & invoices). You keep the paid features until the end of the month you paid for.
Do you do payroll?
No. Punchboo gives you hours, overtime and a gross-wage estimate per person. It does not calculate income tax, CPP, EI, vacation pay or holiday pay, and it does not pay anyone. You hand the numbers to your accountant or payroll service.
Why not Quebec yet?
Quebec needs a French version and extra privacy work. We are holding sign-ups there until both are done.
